Job description

My Client, a market leading, multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their Flood Risk and Drainage Team based near Hatfield.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage and Modelling Projects for Residential Development, Commercial and Educational Projects for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1, 2 and 3.
  2. Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
  3. Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.
  4. Drainage design using Infodrainage.
  5. Training in Flood Risk Modelling.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and/or MSc in Geography, Environmental Management or Hydrology and a keen interest in Flood Risk and Drainage Projects.
