Graduate Environment Consultant

Taunton, Somerset Area

Hybrid & Travel expected

Permanent, full-time

Competitive salary + Bonus + Company Van

As a Graduate Environmental Consultant, you'll facilitate planning, procurement, supervision, and data collection for environmental projects and insurance claims. Work from home with support from our Droitwich office, receiving close mentorship from a Principal Consultant and Regional Manager.


More about the role:
  1. Conduct field monitoring, including measurement and sampling.
  2. Support senior colleagues with environmental claims management and other incidents.
  3. Provide accurate, timely information to line management.
  4. Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance.
  5. Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and liaise with the lab.
  6. Commit to high levels of safety, technical robustness, and organisation.
  7. Undertake other qualified tasks as assigned.

About you:
  1. Degree in earth sciences or a geo-environmental discipline.
  2. Experience in environmental assessment or field data collection is advantageous but not essential; training provided.
  3. Professionalism in assisting the public and representing the Company.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time-management skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  6. Full, clean UK driving license required for travel within our operational footprint and right to work in the UK is essential.
