We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Graduate Engineer to join our Development Infrastructure team in Edinburgh. This role can be worked flexibly with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and the option of adjusted start and finish times. We are ideally looking for someone to start asap.
Our Graduate Engineers form an important component of our design teams and have a varied, interesting workload, with a mixture of office based design work as well as some work on site. Previous graduates relished the real responsibility they were given from the outset. On the job training and support is provided by senior personnel and the company offers approved training agreements with the Institution of Civil Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to become part of a growing team and benefit from good career development prospects.
What does the role involve?
Working within a team environment you will be supporting development teams by assisting with the provision of a multi-disciplinary consultancy service for Sweco’s developer clients.
You will be working on civil infrastructure engineering projects including development schemes (Roads, SUDs, foul, levels/cut and fill, etc), land regeneration and remediation engineering (ground models, geotechnical and geology etc.) and assisting the wider engineering team supporting with onshore wind and waste infrastructure projects.
