Graduate Teacher (Cover Supervisor)

Salary: £500-£550 per week

Start Date: January 2025 - ongoing (flexible)

The School and Role

A secondary school in Daventry seeks a Graduate Teacher from January 2025. The successful Graduate Teacher will work as a Cover Supervisor, covering secondary school classes of all subjects. As a Cover Supervisor, you will not be expected to be a subject specialist in the classes you cover; your responsibility will be to deliver the lesson and ensure pupils are kept on task. Full training can be provided by Vision For Education.

The school would be keen to hear from candidates that are available full time or on a flexible basis. This role will be perfectly suited to graduates considering teacher training in the future.

Requirements

The desired Cover Supervisor will have:

1. An interest in working in education and with young people
2. Degree or A-level Education
3. A resilient, adaptable and motivated personality
4. An ability to work as part of a team
