About the Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain invaluable professional experience within the higher education sector while making a significant contribution to the success of the School of Education at Bath Spa University.
The successful graduate will play a key role in enhancing the student experience by working with subject leaders, student voice leads, placement leads, and student community leaders to coordinate a range of employability and student experience-related activities. This will involve collaborating with academics to raise the School's profile on social media, integrating generated content into teaching and learning, and organising a variety of student, alumni, and applicant events and workshops.
Furthermore, the role will foster alumni engagement by working with university services to coordinate activities, contributing to alumni events, maintaining relationships with graduates, gathering success stories, and encouraging participation in graduate surveys.
The graduate will also support student recruitment by working with recruitment leads to coordinate events, contribute to presentations, and build relationships with schools and colleges.
(This is an 18 Month Full Time Fixed Term Role)
About You
We are looking for a recent graduate from the School of Education who possesses a strong foundation in communication and social media. Essential skills include demonstrated practical experience managing social media accounts, excellent written communication skills evidenced by a portfolio of engaging writing samples, and proficiency in digital content creation and social media analytics, including the ability to interpret data.
A collaborative working style is crucial, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively and build positive relationships with diverse teams. While not essential, project management skills, including the ability to plan, organise, and execute projects, are desirable, as is the capacity to manage multiple projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud video editing software and experience in video production would be a valuable asset. The ability to work independently, taking ideas from concept to completion and showcasing initiative and self-motivation, and ethical use of AI are also desirable.
