An independent, award-winning firm of Chartered Accountants, Auditors, and Tax Associates, based in Maidenhead, has a fabulous opportunity for a Degree Educated Audit and Accounts Trainee. This role will provide an exciting opening into the world of Accountancy while receiving training to gain the ACA or ACCA Accountancy qualification, with the right demonstration of aptitude, work ethic, and ambition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support on audit-based assignments as required by the partners.
2. Draft preparation of year-end financial statements under FRS102-1A and FRS105 for a diverse range of clients including LTD Co., sole traders, and partnerships.
3. Computations for corporation tax (CT600) and submission to the HMRC.
4. General bookkeeping for clients.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Degree Educated student to join a strong and growing Audit and Accounts function as an Audit and Accounts Trainee, in a dynamic and encouraging environment.

You will be computer literate with strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills, and possess an excellent telephone manner, along with good organisational and communication skills.

In return, the successful applicant will receive a salary of between £23k-£25k and the scope for formal training in Accountancy, along with the opportunity to develop your skills in this field.
