Why should you apply to join the DOF Subsea as a Graduate Analysis Engineer

We are looking for someone who enjoys the analytical side of engineering to join our installation analysis team as a Graduate Analysis Engineer. A large part of what we do is based on installing or recovering flexible pipelines, umbilicals, mooring lines and more to or from the subsea environment. This position would suit someone with a keen eye for detail, an understanding of what FEA software can be used for and is happy working in a small team preparing engineering solutions for our offshore projects.

You will be provided with on-the-job training in the software that we use, working within the analysis team of engineers and supported throughout. We are looking for keen and enthusiastic individuals that have finished an engineering degree and are looking to start their career in engineering.

Our Graduate Scheme is a two-year program during which you will get to spend time in several key departments so that you develop a good understanding of what is required to be a Subsea Analysis Engineer. Our graduates also get opportunities to spend time offshore on one (or several) of our construction vessels to ensure they understand what it takes to deliver engineering scopes from an analysis and design perspective. The department rotations give you experience with Projects, Commercial, QHSE, Survey, Procurement, Drafting and others which we believe give you a good overview of our operations.

While we have a structured rotation schedule, we also work with the graduates to ensure they can play to their strengths. This might mean that we change the schedule as we go to make sure it works for you. You will be given a mentor and supported by the whole team here at DOF - everyone wants to make sure our graduates feel at home and are given the experience they need to become the next generation of Subsea Engineers. We choose to only hire a small number of graduates each year so that we can give them the right level of focus. At DOF we pay attention to what you need to succeed. Requirements

• Relevant university degree (Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine) - alternatives may be considered
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project
• Good technical skills and a technical interest
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with the employees
