Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced GP Receptionist to support our client's General Practice, on a permanent basis.

Join our client, based in the Birmingham and Bromsgrove area!

Location: Birmingham | Various Sites
Pay: £23,874 - £26,397 per annum + £150 Welcome Bonus *
Contract: Temp-to-Perm | 3 months probation, with permanent employment once passed!
Hours: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 37.5hrs
System: SystmOne

Duties:

  1. To work as part of the community/private services team in a professional manner, providing high quality reception, administration and support services to all clients, visitors and patients.
  2. Ensure card/cash payments are handled in line with service/organisational protocols.
  3. Engage with patients, offer advice and proactively signpost them to the most appropriate clinician/service.
  4. Identify callers/visitors who may present in person as requiring an immediate emergency response.
  5. Answer the phone and take online requests from patients and accurately record all essential information on the clinical system.

Required:
  1. Basic Medical Terminology.
  2. Good understanding of S1 and excellent computer skills.
  3. Experience as a Receptionist within a GP Surgery/Medical Practice.
