Good Inward Specialist/Forklift Driver Required Hemel Hempstead

We are seeking a proactive and organised Goods-In Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining an organised yard, and ensuring smooth operations within our goods-in area. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1. Receiving & Offloading Deliveries: Safely receive and offload deliveries in a timely and organised manner.
2. Stock Management: Use our ERP system to put away received goods, maintaining accurate records and organised storage.
3. Loading Free-Issue Materials: Prepare and load free-issue materials for dispatch to suppliers as needed.
4. Facility Management: Order skip changes and keep the yard clean and organised to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

1. Forklift Licence: Must hold a valid FLT licence in at least two of the following: Reach Truck, Flexi Truck, Counterbalance.
2. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication in English.
3. Computer Literacy: Comfortable using computers and related software, including ERP systems, for tracking and recording goods.
4. Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and address issues efficiently.

Preferred Skills:

1. Goods-In Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
2. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with MS Business Central and Tasklet systems is preferred.

Hours: Mon - Friday 7.00am-4.00pm
Rate: £14.00-£16.50 per hour
