Join our Good In Team at The Compleat Food Group!

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Good In Area Manager to join our site in Middlesbrough.

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to join our Good In team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Manufacturing Plan is achieved efficiently, to the highest standard, and within the specified timeframe. You will also be responsible for managing and leading the direct reporting team, ensuring effective performance and development.

Additionally, you will oversee the maintenance of all product quality standards, ensuring they are consistently met. Compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety regulations will be a key part of your role.

Working Hours, Salary and Location:

4 on & 4 off (12 hours shifts)

Salary: £33,758

Location: Middlesbrough

Main Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to in order to ensure a zero accident culture is developed on shift.
  2. Ensure that the packing/production plans for each shift are met on time in full.
  3. Constantly monitor and optimise efficiencies of both machinery and labour.
  4. Responsible for the update of live data input to ensure optimum efficiency.
  5. Continuously monitor waste and implement action plans to reduce wastage.
  6. To analyse main causes of downtime on the shift and implement action plans to meet agreed targets.
  7. Monitor and control attendance on the shift through ‘return to work’ interviews.
  8. Ensure that the Company Disciplinary Procedures are followed when appropriate.
  9. Highlight training/development needs within the team.
  10. Ensure that all relevant technical policies and procedures are adhered to.
  11. Daily GMP audit must be completed in conjunction with the Technical Department and work with the Technical team to eliminate issues.
  12. Champion quality culture within the department whilst monitoring products produced/packed are to the quality specification.
  13. Consistently work towards improving costs and promote continuous improvement culture.
  14. Monitor and manage the site key performance indicators (KPI’s) to the agreed levels.
  15. Attend Engineering and Hygiene audits when they are undertaken.
  16. Undertake any other duties that could reasonably be expected within the remit of the post.
