GMP Manufacturing Technician

Salary – £26,000 - £29,000 (depending on interview performance & experience)

Full time, permanent role

We are currently offering the opportunity for a technician to join an innovative biotechnology company based in Cambridge. Our client is seeking a new hard-working individual to join their manufacturing team.

This is the perfect opportunity for a junior scientist who is looking to build on their current professional experience within a biotech / gene therapy setting.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Technician within the DNA manufacturing team, you will be responsible for:

• Cleanroom maintenance and environmental monitoring,
• Housekeeping tasks including equipment sanitation and sterilisation,
• Supporting manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP and safety standards,
• Adherence to QMS policies and procedures.

Current / Recent Experience Required:

• At least 6 months working within a non-academic molecular biology / microbiology lab (essential).
• Experience / understanding of working aseptically (essential).
• Working in compliance with cGMP regulations (desired).
• Experience / understanding of working within a cleanroom environment and gowning procedures (desired).

Profile Required:

• Existing UK work eligibility (essential).
• Happy to commute / relocate to Cambridge (essential).
