POSITION: GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR

LOCATION: WEST MIDLANDS, SOUTH-EAST OR SOUTH COAST

SALARY PACKAGE: COMPETITIVE

Our client is a global market leader in the HVAC/R sector and manufactures condensate removal pumps, HVAC/R accessories, and non-penetrative support systems, tools, and cleaning chemicals. Its family of products is commercialized throughout 100 countries worldwide, predominantly through a wholesaler network.

A new opportunity has arisen to join them as Global Supply Chain Director, who will be required to create, own, and deploy a global supply chain strategy that will support the group's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities will include:

1. Define the logistics centre of gravity as their customer base, supply chain, and manufacturing locations evolve.
2. Continuously review opportunities to reduce costs and increase utilization of the supply chain elements as the growth strategy unfolds.
3. Responsible for warehouse management in the UK, France, Italy & Germany.
4. Responsible for global logistics and shipping (excludes USA & Australia).
5. Creation and management of the sales & operations planning fulfilment processes.
6. Development, delivery, and coordination of integrated planning demand management and supply capability within agreed cost parameters.
7. Management and leadership of a team of 6 supply chain professionals.

Candidates' background & experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years senior global supply chain experience.
2. Operationally and commercially astute.
3. Proven success in delivering improvements across warehouse operations, production planning/operations, inventory management, management control, and reporting.
4. Experience of managing, leading, coaching, and mentoring a team.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills - both internal and external - stakeholder management skills.
6. Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative.
7. Strong communicator and influencer.
8. Languages: English plus French, German preferred but not essential.
