Job description

Join us as a Global Reconciliation Process Lead, where you will be shaping the future of Banking at Barclays, by supporting the Global Reconciliations (GRS) team provide reporting coverage across all legal entities and service areas wherever GRS supports from reconciliation perspective. Within this role you will ensure the continued management and oversite across the reconciliation production space, both locally and globally.

To be successful as a Global Reconciliation Process Lead you should have:

  • Strong Project Management skills to drive initiatives and ensure timely execution.

  • Expertise in Programme Management, overseeing multiple projects and aligning with business goals.

  • People Management experience, including leading teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Strong Operational knowledge to enhance efficiency and improve processes.

  • Solid Risk and Control understanding to identify, assess and mitigate risks effectively.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Background in Risk and Control, with experience in regulatory compliance and governance.

  • Strong negotiation skills, enabling effective stakeholder management and decision-making.

Purpose of the role

To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

  • Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
  • Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
  • Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
  • Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
  • Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
  • Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
