Global Procurement Manager (Consultancy)

As procurement continues its development within the business, this is an exciting time to get involved, working closely with senior leadership and supporting on consultancy focused procurement projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and execution of the global category strategy for the consultancy spend area.
  2. Lead on negotiations on major contracts with PwC/EY/Deloitte/KPMG etc.
  3. Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, helping to build strong relationships and supporting senior managers with supplier performance and review meetings.
  4. Ensure third-party risk management and compliance with procurement policies, including supplier diversity and governance frameworks.
  5. Partner with senior stakeholders, including senior managers and directors, to help align procurement activity with broader business goals and initiatives.
  6. Conduct market analysis to identify cost optimisation opportunities and contribute to delivering long-term value and savings.
  7. Support the full contract lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance with internal processes and best practices.
  8. Take ownership of supplier performance tracking and reporting, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  9. Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members as the function grows.

Key Skills Required:

  1. Proven procurement and sourcing experience, within Professional Services, ideally consultancy spend on a global basis.
  2. Strong negotiation skills, with hands-on experience working on large-scale deals with major consultancies such as the Big4.
  3. Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders (up to director level) and build strong internal relationships.
  4. Strong ability to drive value out of consultancies, especially in life.
  5. Experience supporting vendor management activities and helping drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.
  6. Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of managing complex projects and meeting deadlines across global teams.
  7. Some exposure to coaching or mentoring others, with an interest in supporting team development as the function expands.
