Hiring range: £95,000-£115,000 + up to 10% annual bonus (discretionary)

The team...

At ITV, the Data Privacy team sits at the heart of ITV's data led initiatives supporting and implementing all aspects of the global data protection strategy and advising on compliance matters surrounding data privacy.

The role...

The Legal & Business Affairs team has an opportunity to recruit a Global Data Privacy Programme Manager as a key senior member of the Group Data Privacy team on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the DPO and legal, business, data and technology colleagues across the company. The Global Data Privacy Programme Manager will be the lead role responsible for overall operational delivery, monitoring and continual improvement of ITV's data protection compliance programme and initiatives along with line management of the Group Data Privacy team compliance staff.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead on the data protection compliance operations across our UK and global businesses operating in the EEA and other regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven operational track record of implementing and managing data privacy or information compliance programmes in a company that operates in the UK and multiple jurisdictions.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Leading and effectively delivering data privacy compliance initiatives across ITV's businesses;
• Identifying and prioritising data protection compliance initiatives to demonstrate tangible benefits;
• Overseeing the management and maintenance of ITV's Records of Processing Activities;
• Reviewing and refining compliance documentation, templates, and processes for privacy evaluations;
• Determining the schedule for annual reviews of ITV's Data Privacy Compliance documentation;
• Maintaining systems and processes and ensuring timely responses to data subject access requests;
• Preparing and communicating status, issues, and key decisions of ITV's data privacy compliance program;
• Ensuring successful delivery of data privacy compliance projects;
• Regularly reviewing or auditing data protection practices within the business.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)...

• A number of years of significant and demonstrable data privacy or information compliance programme experience;
• Recognised professional qualification in Law, Project Management or Information Management;
• Privacy Certification from the IAPP, BCS qualification in Data Protection/GDPR is desirable.

• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
