Overview

The Department

  • The Meta Data Governance team is the account's central hub for offering guidance, defining best practice, and operationalizing the transformation of advertising ideas into well-encoded advertising data.
  • Our work enables the wheel of exquisite media activation to roll on, streamlining the development of insights grounded in fact and captivating strategic opportunity.
  • We get to help write the language of advertising with a client that's a world-class leader in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Integrity: Supporting clients in managing, operating and scaling digital and offline campaign data through activations across paid and owned channels. Confirm adherence to standard taxonomy and processes across all platforms, ensuring teams input data correctly.
  • Training and Quality Assurance: Provide hands-on training to team members on effective tool usage and strategic media investment. Ensure quality assurance by confirming adherence to guidelines and assist in resolving variance issues.
  • Mentorship and Process Design: Mentor junior team members in managing data dictionaries and maintaining database stability. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop efficient processes and tools.
  • Representation and Strategic Collaboration: Showcase the benefits of the data integrity approach to other accounts within Publicis, and work closely with the Analytics team on strategic requests, including client presentations and insights gathering.

Qualifications

  • Media agency background
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance and taxonomy standards
  • Strong understanding of paid media process (Strategy, Investment, Ad Tech, Analytics, Operations)
  • Experience with data management in spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets); macro development is a plus
  • Strong project management skills, including standard tools (Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheets)
  • Experience with data ETL and visualization tools (Datorama, Tableau, Alteryx, Domo)
  • Familiarity with digital media technologies such as ad servers, ad verification, DSPs, and socials
  • Very detail-oriented, autonomous, and strong critical thinker
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A relationship builder and team player
