Global Claims Handler - Commercial Claims

We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Claims – Global Claims Handler to join our established and experienced team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

As a Global Claims Handler, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of both UK and overseas claims for some of our largest worldwide customers. You will play a key role in providing top-tier claims service, ensuring that our Risk Managed & Wholesale International clients receive the highest level of support and attention throughout the claims process. In this role, you will oversee claims from registration through to settlement, ensuring the efficient and effective resolution of insurance claims. You will liaise regularly with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including customers, brokers, and suppliers, to ensure smooth communication and progress on all claims. A key part of your responsibilities will be to build good working relationships with our customers, brokers, and suppliers, ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and to a high standard. You will be entrusted with managing claims up to £100k, ensuring our customers receive a first-class service every time.

About You

You will have previous experience working in Commercial Property and possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while meeting deadlines. You will also have a keen understanding of process improvements, ensuring the claims process runs efficiently and smoothly. In addition, you will be responsible for managing complex financial arrangements, including aggregate deductible programs for our London market and multinational customers. Your role requires a good working knowledge of property claims, as you will be handling claims up to £100k from notification through to settlement. You will also bring experience in general claims processes, enabling you to navigate complex situations and ensure claims are handled effectively and to the highest standard.
