Job Description

The Global Merchandise Planning team (GMP) is a key part of ASOS's commercial function, working alongside buying and merchandising teams to drive the assortment strategy and set purchase targets across the business divisions to achieve ASOS's stock objectives.

As a global merchandising assistant planner, you'll report into a Merchandise planner.

Role Objectives

  1. Working closely with buying teams to understand their product strategy and set intake plans by fulfilment centre (FC) accordingly. Analyzing by category/brand to ensure the stock meets customer demand, reacting to trends and iterating plans.
  2. Responsible for ensuring intake plans set roll back to target for buying division at FC level.
  3. Supporting the product group planners on their product forecasts, maintaining and forecasting WSSIs.
  4. Supporting the FC planners with analysis to drive trade in key markets.

Qualifications

Who We'd Like to Meet

  • Previous experience of working in planning/merchandising/supply chain, ideally within ecommerce fashion retail.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Highly competent in Excel.
  • Ideal but not essential to be proficient in SQL / PowerBI.
