About the Team
The Global Agency & Accounts Team (GA&A) is a strategic and consultative partner to the largest advertisers and agencies in the world, helping them to develop TikTok solutions that build businesses and brands across our integrated suite of products. The Agency team works with some of the largest Ad Agencies across all categories globally. They are responsible for enabling advertising on the platform and connecting users with brands.
Role Overview
The Global Agency Partnerships Director is responsible for hitting revenue goals, building relationships with advertising agencies and helping agencies drive business results on TikTok through product consultation, education, and strategic support. The role requires strong consultative sales skills, strong partnership with internal and external agency teams, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing media environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with global and local senior agency stakeholders
- Demonstrate ability to work with and in highly matrixed organizations
- Co-lead agency growth strategy and action plans with Agency Leads
- Demonstrate strategic and analytical sales and account management approach
- Partner with XFN teams to scale industry knowledge and drive industry education
- Create compelling sales presentations and proposals utilizing internal and external data
- Drive product knowledge and build advocacy of partners, providing POV grounded in agency objectives
- Work several levels of the organization in parallel, including ensuring quality implementation with agencies
- Build ideas and strategies from data and learning to deliver and sell compelling solutions, driving incremental opportunities
- Independently extract and apply insights and tell a compelling story that changes client thinking and moves business
- Work cross-functionally within sales to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification
- 5+ years of media agency, media sales, brand advertising, and/or digital advertising experience
- Proven ability to establish relationships with advertisers, agency and C-level relationships
- Experience in senior technical stakeholder relationship management, translating business needs into innovative technology solutions
- Experience in digital advertising, enterprise solutions, online media buying and selling processes, and advertising technologies with a good understanding of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying
- Ability to lead and communicate across multiple markets with a track record of building compelling presentations leveraging industry and internal proof points
Preferred Qualifications:
- Global and regional experience in managing agency partnerships
- Experience delivering, exceeding, and unlocking revenue goals and opportunities in a complex environment
