Purpose of the job

HH Global has a unique opportunity for an experienced client-centric Global Account Director to join our team to drive change and pursue new opportunities in a fast-paced Automotive industry.

This role will see you responsible for account development and contract delivery globally, across 5 existing clients . Supported by Account Directors, you will be required to build strong relationships with client stakeholders, deliver strategic transformation and develop innovative solutions to drive ROI. As Global Account Director you will take full accountability for the strategic, contractual, and operational management of the account.

Key r esponsibilities

  • Creation and delivery of HH Global’s account strategy for all clients within the automotive sector and ensuring that the account teams are following the global objectives .
  • A client-centric approach ensuring high client engagement with senior key stakeholders across the global client organisation .
  • Ensure that the contract is managed in line with our contractual responsibilities .
  • Manage overall financial performance of the account, risk analysis and remedy .
  • Identification of new business opportunitiesto leverage the partnership and strategic benefits .
  • Ensure that activities comply with the Company’s policies and procedures .
  • Identify risks to the account and put in place strategies to manage them .
  • Responsible for budgeting and financial reconciliation, variance reporting and P&L activities .
  • Present at Board level to internal and external stakeholders .
  • Operate effective two-way communication with a virtual global team within a matrix management environment .
  • Identify areas of resource risk and develop team structures to ensure balance and delivery .
  • Manage a global account team against the target and assume responsibility for your team .
  • Drive and challenge the team, engaging the business SME’s to deliver shared strategies that provide value .

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Proven track record and experience in a strategic, senior global account managementrole .
  • Experience and ability to develop a global strategy and execute with the support of the local teams .
  • Client-centric, putting the client at the heart of everything you do .
  • Excellent experience of dealing with large P+L budgets and bottom line .
  • Experience in leading direct and indirect reports, preferably globally .
  • Previous experience managing complex strategic clients through change .
  • Proven track record of delivering transformational programmes .
  • Strong knowledge of the automotive industry is required along with the financial and operational complexity of sourcing and distributing globally .
  • Strong background in the procurement of marketing services .
  • Highly skilled presenter and negotiator at dealing with senior stakeholders – comfortable at presenting at C level as well as day to day contacts .
  • Very strong operational background and understanding of bottom-line management .
  • Demonstrable track record of successful client and contract management .
  • Can anticipate internal and/or external issues which will impact own business units and teams and able to develop contingency plans to manage such issues .
