The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GIS and Asset Data Officer to join our team and contribute to our implementation of best practice asset management systems. You will play a key role in utilising geospatial technologies and Council’s Asset Management Information Systems applying analytical techniques to support various departments and initiatives. About You
The City of Ballarat Assets team is looking for an experienced and qualified individual to take up the role of GIS and Asset Data Officer.
Reporting to the Asset Systems Lead, this role will see you responsible for contributing to the management of the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) and providing support in the development and maintenance of Asset Management Information Systems with a focus on infrastructure.
Mandatory experience in the use and management of spatial systems and software including QGIS, ArcGIS, and ESRI. Desirable experience in using Asset Management Information Systems such as Confirm.
