German speaking Technical Support Specialist

Excellent opportunity to join a leading and very successful global tech company and support German speaking customers and distributors.

Location:
Hybrid role. Office location is the South West London area (3 days a week, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - remote working for Monday and Friday).

Languages:
Fluency or very good working knowledge of German is essential.

Job responsibilities of the German speaking Technical Support Specialist:

  • Handle technical issues and product questions by email, live chat or social media from German speaking distributors, resellers and end users.
  • Resolve customer queries by gathering appropriate information from the customer, then researching and resolving the issue.
  • Pro-actively maintain knowledge and update yourself on all products and competitor’s hardware/software products. Initial and ongoing training will be provided as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain correspondence and other technical support records.
  • Handle customer's complaints with a strong focus on customer's satisfaction and a view to anticipate them.
  • Visit customers from time to time when necessary.

The successful candidate background, experiences and skills:

  • Fluency or very good working knowledge of German.
  • Experience in IT support, helpdesk or customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
  • Be highly organised.

Salary, benefits & working hours:

£27,500 - £29,500 + bonus (typically up to 20% of base salary paid quarterly).
