Job Title: German Speaking Credit Controller

Contract: Part-Time (25 hours a week), Permanent

Location: Great Stukeley, Cambridgeshire (Office Based)

Salary: Up to GBP21,500 pro rata (GBP30,000 GBP32,000 full-time equivalent)

Are you fluent in German and looking for a flexible, part-time role within a friendly and dynamic team? We're looking for a dedicated German Speaking Credit Controller to join our client's growing finance department in Cambridgeshire.

About the Role

As a key member of our client's credit control team, you will play a vital role in maintaining positive cash flow and supporting customer relationships. This is a part-time, permanent position, ideal for someone with strong language skills and a background in finance or credit control.

Key Responsibilities

1. Communicating with business customers to follow up on overdue payments in a professional and effective manner
2. Investigating customer credit histories and identifying outstanding debts
3. Establishing and managing repayment agreements, liaising with debt advisors where necessary
4. Creating and updating accurate customer account records
5. Handling and reconciling incoming payments
6. Initiating legal recovery actions when debts remain unpaid beyond agreed terms

What We're Looking For

1. Fluency in German at a native or near-native level (spoken and written)
2. Previous experience in credit control or a finance-related role is preferred
3. Familiarity with accounting software and general accounting principles
4. Strong customer service and communication skills, particularly in a B2B environment
5. Proactive, well-organised, and detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
