My client is a long-established Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Ground Investigation consultancy that operates throughout the South. They pride themselves on being a great employer with fantastic support for their staff. They provide their clients with cost-effective ground investigations with practical solutions for a very wide range of projects.

The company assists with all ground-related aspects, including:

1. Phase 1 desk studies
2. Practical foundation advice
3. Contaminated land assessments
4. Sustainable drainage solutions
5. Soil parameters for basement and infrastructure design
6. Economic and environmentally sustainable remediation solutions

You will be a Geotechnical/GeoEnvironmental Engineer seeking to join an exciting Oxfordshire-based team with a promising future. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Project managing ground investigation projects
2. Fieldwork and supervision of site contractors
3. Writing associated reports
4. Providing cost-effective solutions

You should have a minimum of 12 months experience in a ground investigation consultancy, including:

1. Rock logging
2. Fieldworks and sitework supervision
3. Providing recommendations covering foundation design, ground improvements, earthworks, basements, retaining walls, mining, dissolution, and slope stability assessments

Continuous training towards Chartership under the BGS Accreditation Scheme and CPD support will be provided.
