Hours: 37.5 hours, working Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000 plus, negotiable depending upon experience

Bonus Structure: 20% Bonus

Contract: 9-month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a skilled negotiator with a keen eye for market trends? As a Generic Elite Buyer, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our product offering, ensuring we remain competitive and profitable in a fast-moving industry. This is an exciting opportunity to build strong supplier relationships, influence pricing strategies, and make a real impact in a dynamic commercial environment.

The heart of the role

1. Engage with Pricing and Telesales teams to track cost price movements and maintain market competitiveness.
2. Support rebate and Pan-European initiatives, focusing on key molecules to help achieve annual manufacturer targets.
3. Monitor and manage upstream product costs, ensuring alignment with market sell prices to maintain profitability.
4. Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Depots to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient receipt of goods.
5. Proactively contribute to category and pricing meetings, providing insights to optimize performance.
