Schools in Norfolk are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated General Science Teachers to join their dynamic Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3/KS4) and contribute to a thriving learning environment. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we welcome applications from individuals passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality Science education. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as a General Science Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver exciting and interactive Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
2. Teach all three sciences (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) with confidence.
3. Foster curiosity and enthusiasm for Science through practical experiments and inquiry-based learning.
4. Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing tailored support where needed.
5. Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement, and achievement.
6. Contribute to extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and educational trips.

Ideal General Science Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
3. A creative and innovative approach to Science education.
4. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
5. Strong teamwork and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
