General Manager - Operations at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Salary: Up to 85K per annum plus discretionary bonus

Working Days: 5 out of 7 days per week

Role Purpose:

Take full accountability for a great food and beverage operation, matching the venue's ambition, brand specifications, and standards. This role requires a dynamic senior hospitality professional experienced in food and beverage delivery, with a focus on delivering consistency of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Frequent liaison with venue and senior leadership team to agree strategy and direction.
  • Ensure all activities have a clear purpose and measurable outcomes.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and market trends.
  • Collaborate with venue team and stakeholders to plan and deliver various projects.

Operations:

  • Ownership of the day-to-day delivery of product quality and service standards.
  • Drive guest focus culture through knowledge of hospitality standards.
  • Innovate to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain Health and Safety policies.
  • Operate and develop brand standards within each area.
  • Champion guest-focused culture and act on feedback.

People:

  • Lead and manage the operational team.
  • Develop and sustain high team energy and engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and talent management.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the venue.
  • Recognise and celebrate success.

Financial & Business Development:

  • Accountable for all costs and profitability of the operation.
  • Control operating costs and seek efficient ways to operate.
  • Utilise data to drive efficiency and growth.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience at F&B senior level.
  • Experience managing a mixed portfolio of outlets.
  • Confident leader with excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about food and hospitality.
  • Experience leading projects and change programmes.
  • Previous P&L accountability.
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
