A large fashion retailer is now looking for a General Manager.
Responsible for both automated and manual warehouse operations at Swindon. This is an in-house facility with an annual throughput of 45 million pieces and an operational budget of £19m, with a warehouse footprint of 350,000 sq. ft.
You will:
- Manage the Change Process throughout the introduction of a leading-edge PTL (pick to light) system.
- Redefine senior management operational working practices to enable greater flexibility.
- Introduce new site practices between management and union, leading to major improvements in on-site relationships and a reduction of IR issues.
- Deliver budget within a changing environment and evolving retail demands.
