Salary: £51,500 -£57,500 DOE

Bonus: 20% potential - Up to £69,000 OTE

We partner with Samsung UK and operate the Samsung Experience Stores on the UK high street and online.

Role Overview

The PRS & Samsung General Manager is accountable for delivering PRS & Samsung goals through alignment with the PRS & Samsung brand and ethos, inspirational team leadership and development, and an unswerving desire to introduce PRS & Samsung products that deliver key features benefiting individual customers.

Evidencable Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in people management, leadership, and direction – setting a clear direction for your team, inspiring others, and able to articulate our values with conviction.
  • Communication and influencing skills that generate commitment and loyalty.
  • Passionate about people – from customers to stakeholders.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads while balancing a multiskilled team’s deployment in a multilevel site.
  • A commercially minded approach to retail.
  • The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and promote the benefits of change to those around you.
  • Previous high-level retail management experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of the Samsung ecosystem and a love for all things tech.
  • Constantly challenges own knowledge and drives own learning.
  • Can effectively demonstrate ability in managing large teams (30+).
  • Evidence of people development and future succession planning.
  • Effective stakeholder management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety: Lead by example, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across the store, creating a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.
  • Store Standards Expert: Maintain impeccable store standards as a top priority, ensuring the store always looks its best for an inviting shopping experience.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and inspire colleagues across all departments to foster a high-performing and motivated team, setting clear expectations and providing direction.
  • Operational Excellence: Follow and uphold PRS & Samsung processes, guidelines, and policies to ensure seamless operations and efficiency throughout the store.
  • Shift Management: As a key holder, take charge of general shift management, ensuring all daily tasks are carried out smoothly.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, ensuring budgets are adhered to and optimized across various areas.

Deliverables:

  • Shop Floor Excellence: Focus on shop floor management to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Performance Management: Observe and track performance metrics across the team, providing valuable insights and feedback.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver a great brand experience, encompassing both sales and service.
  • Team Development: Manage all sales colleagues, providing performance reviews, conducting coaching sessions, and mentoring to promote their growth.
  • Training Compliance: Ensure all colleagues are up to date with their training metrics.
  • Market Analysis: Analyse local market changes that may impact trade to stay ahead of the competition.
