Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Operations Director (Energy Division), you will:

1. Oversee the safe and efficient operation of two power plants.
2. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
3. Manage site budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control measures.
4. Lead and develop a high-performing operations team.
5. Monitor plant performance, ensuring operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
6. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and contractors.
7. Implement and optimise maintenance strategies to maximise plant reliability and availability.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

1. A degree in engineering, waste management, or a related discipline.
2. Strong technical knowledge of EfW operations and waste management.
3. Proven experience in managing EfW or similar industrial facilities.
4. Familiarity with SHEQ standards and compliance requirements.
5. Financial and budget management experience.
