Hays is exclusively recruiting for a privately-owned manufacturing company in Lincoln for a General Manager to spearhead their manufacturing and warehousing operations. Parts of their modern warehouse operations hum with efficiency, while their manufacturing area is primed for transformation – and that’s where you come in.

Your Role

As General Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the operations, including Manufacturing, Goods In, Dispatch, and everything in between. You’ll also oversee Finance, IT, and HR, leading a team of approximately 40 staff across production cells and lines, and a modern warehousing setup. Your focus will be to:

• Lead with Purpose: Engage and inspire a workforce ready for change, fostering a culture of collaboration and pride.
• Drive Performance: Dig into untapped data, optimise processes, and introduce smarter ways of working across production, warehousing, and dispatch to improve efficiencies at all levels.
• Shape the Future: From enhancing production planning to leveraging automation, you’ll identify opportunities and make them happen – with full autonomy to innovate.
• Steer the Ship: Chair weekly senior management meetings, align departments, and report progress to the Board, ensuring your vision becomes reality.
