Job precis:

We are seeking a General Manager for this branded, upscale, contemporary hotel and spa located in the northwest, near Liverpool. The General Manager will be instrumental in improving service standards across the hotel, ensuring the commercial and operational success of the hotel and inspiring and motivating the team to deliver exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on management role and will be fully accountable for the day-to-day operation of the property which includes an extensive spa facility. This would suit an existing General Manager or an up-and-coming Hotel Manager from an upscale branded hotel looking to step up.

About the role

1. Lead and manage the hotel departments and teams.
2. Oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel and spa.
3. Oversee, direct and implement the highest standards of service throughout the hotel.
4. Have creative input into the development of the hotel.
5. Be the face of the hotel with local clients and customers.
6. Produce hotel commercial and performance reports as required.

What we are looking for

1. Senior hotel operational experience in the upscale hotel market is required.
2. The ability to improve and maintain service standards across the hotel are essential.
3. A background in F&B and experience of working in a hotel with a Spa is highly sought after.
4. A self-motivated, driven, results orientated, and proactive attitude is required.
5. People management and leadership experience is essential.
6. Business reporting and commercial acumen is essential.

Package short description:

Up to £55,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits.
