Job description

We are CH&CO, we’re proud to take a more thoughtful, mindful approach to the food experiences we source, prepare and present. CH & CO is a contract catering company providing services across all sectors and due to our continued growth and recent business successes, we are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team in the Surrey area.

Location: Surrey

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 over 7 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically manage all aspects of retail operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence, and adherence to company standards.
  • Drive sustainable business growth by implementing strategic initiatives, optimising resources, and delivering measurable commercial results.
  • Provide visionary leadership to a team of 20-40 members, fostering a high-performance culture that promotes productivity, engagement, and professional development.
  • Oversee and analyse the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, ensuring financial performance aligns with organizational goals and identifying opportunities for growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable leadership culture, empowering teams through mentorship and strategic guidance to achieve both organisational and individual success.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while upholding the organisation’s reputation for excellence.
