Our historic property in Glasgow is seeking a hands-on leader to join us as General Manager of Fraser Suites Glasgow. Set in a beautifully renovated 1850's Victorian baronial building and located in the vibrant Merchant City, this is a fantastic property that requires a passionate individual dedicated to hospitality.
As General Manager, you will be an operational manager, leading the team, setting standards, and supporting them in their roles. This role is not a typical 9-5 office job; you will work a varied pattern of shifts depending on business needs, including some weekends and bank holidays. You will oversee daily operations and ensure all guests' needs are met, manage all costs within the business and deliver expected financial performance, and collaborate closely with the central revenue team to maintain competitiveness.
We’re looking for someone who has a passion for hospitality and a hands-on approach to leadership, and a strong financial understanding of how a Serviced Apartment business works would be beneficial. This role would suit someone who has experience as a General Manager from a smaller property or a Deputy General Manager/Hotel Manager from a larger property looking for a step up.
