Bumper Rescue is a highly successful Smart Repair company committed to delivering top-quality vehicle repairs. Our innovative approach utilizes skilled ex-Bodyshop professionals to provide express mobile paintwork solutions directly to dealerships and private clients at their convenience. With a strong emphasis on exceptional quality and outstanding customer service, we are searching for a passionate and driven professional to join us as a General Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and steering our team towards success.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Manage a team of Smart Repair technicians, ensuring consistently high-quality repairs that meet and exceed industry standards.

Quality Assurance: Conduct routine quality spot checks at dealerships and private client locations to maintain service excellence.

Stakeholder Communication: Foster strong relationships with dealership decision-makers, communicating professionally and efficiently to consistently meet their needs.

Customer Follow-up: Engage with private customers post-service to ensure continued satisfaction and uphold company standards.

Sales Team Support: Lead and motivate a small team of sales account managers, ensuring all directives are effectively executed.

Team Meetings: Hold regular meetings with the sales staff to address challenges, inspire the team, set objectives, and seek new business opportunities.

Business Growth: Drive the expansion of our operations by increasing the number of repair vans on the road to broaden our reach and stabilise growth.

Operational Management: Oversee stock management, supplier relations, cost-effectiveness, and the implementation of new systems and processes to keep pace with industry changes.

Reporting: Provide clear and concise weekly updates to the directors on business performance, needs, and direction.

Field Support: Regularly meet with mobile Smart Repair technicians at dealerships to understand their daily tasks and concerns, serving as the primary contact for discussions and problem resolution.

Pricing Integrity: Ensure technicians maintain competitive pricing for dealership clients while emphasizing quality workmanship to safeguard contracts.

Accountability Culture: Foster a work environment where all staff members are accountable and aligned with the General Manager's vision.

System Implementation: Introduce new systems such as health and safety protocols and human resource processes to enhance overall operations.

Qualifications:

- Proven managerial experience within the automotive industry, preferably in the car body repair sector.

- Strong leadership and effective communication skills.

- Ability to inspire and manage a diverse team, demonstrating excellent people management.

- Outstanding problem-solving skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

- Solid understanding of Smart Repair processes and a commitment to maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

- Experience in implementing operational systems is an advantage.

Compensation:

Salary: £37,000 - £45,000, dependent on experience.

OTE (On-Target Earnings): Up to £60,000, including an enticing monthly bonus based on a percentage of turnover.

Car or Car Allowance: Provided.
