General Counsel

We are currently supporting a client in their search for a General Counsel. Our client is based in central London with modern and spacious offices and is looking for an experienced Litigator to join the team.

This is a truly unique opportunity for a lawyer with a solid litigation background to move in-house and work closely with the employees of this organisation.

The following types of litigation would be most beneficial to this organisation:

• Crime, such as communications or public order;
• Regulatory law, such as professional conduct or charity law;
• Administrative law, such as judicial review;
• Defamation;
• Equality and human rights.

Please note, it is not required or expected that candidates will have experience across all of the above, but certainly a combination would be highly advantageous.

As General Counsel, you will work in partnership with senior leadership to achieve the goals and mission of this organisation. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate that you are highly organised, excel at working under pressure, and can respond to legal queries quickly.
