General Catering Assistant

Class 1 Personnel are working with a national client to recruit a General Catering Assistant to work in Sudbury for their education sites in the county. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Assistant to work in a stable environment with a strong reputation for delivering great food.

The role

As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for all aspects of service, including assisting staff with kitchen duties and front of house service.

Main job entails:

• Assist kitchen with food preparation.
• Service to the highest standard.
• Working front of house as needed, interacting with customers.
• Serving and clearing tables.
• Maintain work area cleanliness.

Key skills:

• A confident, self-motivated, and driven person.
• Maintain high standards for customer service.
• Ideally experience in working in a busy kitchen.

In this role, you will be working in a well-established kitchen and will be responsible for the smooth running of service throughout the week.

Pay: £12.21 per hour, working 10:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday, starting in up to July.

This role is being offered as a temporary position.

You must have a valid in-date Enhanced DBS certificate and Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
