General Catering Assistant

Class 1 Personnel are working with a national client to recruit a General Catering Assistant to work in Lowestoft for their education sites in the county. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Assistant to work in a stable environment with a strong reputation for delivering great food.

The role

As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for all aspects of service, including assisting staff with kitchen duties and front of house service.

Main job entails:

1. Assist kitchen with food preparation.
2. Service to the highest standard.
3. Working front of house as needed, interacting with customers.
4. Serving and clearing tables.
5. Maintain work area cleanliness.

Key skills:

1. A confident, self-motivated, and driven person.
2. Maintain high standards for customer service.
3. Ideally experience in working in a busy kitchen.

In this role you will be working in a well-established kitchen and will be responsible for smooth running service throughout the week.

Pay: £12.21h working 09:30 to 13:30 Monday to Friday starting up to the end of May.

This role is being offered as a temporary position.

You must have a valid in-date Enhanced DBS certificate and level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
