Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
  • Provide tailored support to improve students' understanding and performance in the subjects
  • Create engaging and effective lesson plans
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student progress
Qualifications:
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Specialist knowledge in English and Maths at GCSE level
  • Experience in delivering intervention sessions to students
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher in a similar role
Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to plan effectively
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be required to work closely with students, parents, and school staff to deliver effective intervention sessions.
