About The Role

CCTV Licensed Security Officer

Duties as a CCTV Licensed Security Officer

• Act as the first point of contact with external agencies in response to incidents (Police, LFB, Local Authorities etc.)
• CCTV Operations
• Patrolling
• Access Control systems
• Key Management
• Reception duties - Meeting and greeting
• Ensure Health & Safety of staff and visitors
• Respond effectively to all alarm activations
• Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management
• Identify suspicious persons, actions and report such circumstances

Requirements as a CCTV Licensed Security Officer

• SIA Licence CCTV and either Door Supervision/Security Guarding Licence
• Basic IT skills
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
• Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
• High standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
• Work as part of a team
• Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public
• An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors’ needs
