Job description

Gas Technical & Quality Assistant

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Type: Permanent

Due to continued success and growth, our Manufacturing / Engineering client, a leader in their market sector, is looking to recruit a Permanent Gas Technical & Quality Assistant for their Banbury location.

Job Purpose:

To carry out quality/auditing processes and procedures, reviewing manufacturing processes, and supporting 'Quality Management Systems'. Full training given, but you MUST have an ACS Gas qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  1. Responding to technical enquiries, reviewing technical drawings, and undertaking sizing projects.
  2. Assisting in the presentation of our clients' training program to consultants, specifiers, and installers.
  3. Maintaining technical content in literature and website.
  4. Supporting the ISO 9001 quality management system, including product testing, certification, and systems auditing.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the gas industry - you MUST hold current ACS proof of competence (or equivalent).
  • Experience in quality assurance, auditing, or product testing within Engineering manufacturing.
  • Hardworking, conscientious, and must be able to carry out all aspects of the role.
  • Dependable and self-motivated.
