Qualifications

  • Must hold ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  • Recognized formal training in plumbing or heating systems.

Job description

PPM Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Gas Plumber/Wet fitter for one of our clients in Wigan.


Working on Domestic Properties


Duties Include:

  1. Undertake the servicing, repairing and maintenance of Domestic heating systems.
  2. Complete works in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
  3. Some Wet Fitting Responsibilities which may include installations and repairs of domestic heating systems including replacements of radiators and valves.
  4. Completion of all relevant paperwork.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
  6. Participate in out of hour's works, including overtime and call out.
  7. Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures.
  8. Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards.
  9. Undertake all other maintenance works within remit.
  10. Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.

Must Hold the following:

  1. Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent/ City and Guilds.
  2. ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT.
  3. LPG unvented oil desirable but not essential.
  4. UNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essential.
