We are seeking a Gas Engineer / Plumber who is Gas Safe certified with previous industry experience installing commercial and domestic heating/plumbing systems and appliances to cover Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas.

SALARY:
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Company Van + Benefits

LOCATION:
Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas such as Four Oaks, Lichfield, Tamworth, West Midlands

JOB TYPE:
Full-Time, Permanent

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
You must be Gas Safe registered and have a full UK Driving Licence.

JOB OVERVIEW
As a Gas Engineer / Plumber, you will travel around Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas carrying out commercial and domestic plumbing and heating installations and repairs. You will also be responsible for commercial and domestic boiler installations and repairs. DUTIES
Your duties as the Gas Engineer / Plumber include:

1. Install commercial/domestic heating/plumbing systems and appliances.
2. Install full bathrooms including all associated works and fixtures.
3. Fault finding to commercial/domestic heating/plumbing systems and appliances & carry out repairs.
4. Repairs to hot and cold water systems, sanitary ware, and drainage systems.
5. Liaise with clients concerning the timing and progress of work being undertaken.
6. Undertake, where necessary, minor building repairs, tiling & carpentry works.
7. Identify materials required to carry out repair/installation to the required standard.
8. Ensure safe handling and storage of all tools and equipment.
9. Complete & retain logs of work undertaken and materials used.
10. Undertake work in accordance with safe working practices.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Must be Gas Safe registered, have previous industry experience, a full UK driving licence, own hand tools, and be customer-focused providing a professional service at all times with excellent customer service skills.
