Job description

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic heating engineer to cover the Northampton area carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local Housing Association contract.

The Role:
  1. Landlord Gas Safety Checks (CP12s)
  2. Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems.
  3. Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients.
  4. Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
Requirements:
  1. 2 years' experience as a qualified gas/heating engineer.
  2. Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills.
  3. ACS qualifications incl. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1.
  4. Full UK Driving Licence.
  5. No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment).
The Package:
  1. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
  2. Overtime paid at hourly rate.
  3. Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided.
  4. Salary: £41,000 per annum.
  5. Out of Hours call out on rota basis. Paid either on price per job or hourly decided by engineer.
  6. Monthly bonus.
  7. OTE £45,000+ per annum.
  8. 20 days holiday plus bank holiday (holiday entitlement increases with service).
  9. Pension scheme.
