Garden Maintenance Foreman

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Garden Maintenance Foreman based in London and Home Counties for a prestigious landscaping company.

Summary of the Garden Maintenance Foreman role:

Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Location: London & M25 radius
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (Flexible)

The role:

As the Garden Maintenance Foreman, your role will involve the following important duties:

1. Working with a mix of own build, high profile designer projects and private spaces in both domestic and commercial sectors.
2. Manage garden maintenance for a mix of landscapes from city courtyards to large country estates.
3. Diagnose and treat problems in plants and keep the disease under control.
4. Work with garden irrigation systems.
5. Efficiently work to tight deadlines.
6. This post allows progression into Aftercare Management.

The experience required:

As a successful Garden Maintenance Foreman, you will have the following:

1. At least 3 years of gardening experience (2 of those in a team leader role).
2. Full UK driving licence with previous van driving experience.
3. Qualified to at least level 3 or equivalent and PA1/PA6.
4. Excellent working knowledge of plants, their requirements and ability to recognise disorders and treat problems.
5. Basic knowledge of irrigation systems.
6. Ability to use a range of small machinery.
7. Great customer service skills.
8. Staff management skills.
