Glasgow Life is looking for part time Gallery Assistants to join us on a permanent basis. As a Gallery Assistant you will be joining our in-demand front of house team. You will be part of a dedicated team which supports Museums & Collections.

The role

As a Gallery Assistant, you'll be an integral part of the team run by Museums & Collections. Reporting to an Assistant Museum Manager and working alongside an established team.

The candidate

If you're interested in joining us as a Gallery Assistant you'll need:

  1. Experience working as front of house staff.
  2. Flexible attitude to working hours and location.
  3. Strong people and communication skills.
  4. Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.

The available hours for the part time roles are as follows, please indicate your preference in your application form:

  1. Permanent Contract - 13.5 hrs on a rotating schedule which includes alternate weekends, 2 days per week.
  2. Permanent Contract - 13 hrs working each weekend, 7hrs Saturday, 6hrs Sunday.

Salary for this post will be pro-rata.
