Job description

Talent Guardian is collaborating with a leading financial services firm headquartered in London. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented FX Business Developer.

This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting a suite of FX international payment solutions, with a focus on export finance opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the FX market, focusing on SMEs, institutional clients, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their FX payment needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Actively promote and sell a range of FX products and services, including international payment solutions and export finance products.
  4. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  5. Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments impacting the FX industry.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.
  7. This is a front-end sales role building out an FX desk for payment solutions, focusing on export finance opportunities.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in FX sales or business development within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of FX international payment solutions.
  2. Established network of contacts within institutional clients, corporations, and/or high-net-worth individuals would be desirable.
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen interest in financial markets.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
