Job Description:

It is essential that all applicants have some UK work experience, including at least 5 years of Fund Finance market and client development experience gained from a banking or financial environment. Our client does not offer sponsorship, student visa, or PSW; therefore, 3+ years of visa eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

Our client, a Financial Institution, is seeking a Fund Finance, Financial Institutions Relationship Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Client Management:

• Establish core Fund Finance customer business circle by identifying strategic customers with a presence in the London or European market.
• Strengthen cooperation with existing Fund Finance customers and expand the new customer list through active product introduction, asset placement, and other bilateral relationships.
• Generate revenue to meet business targets, mainly through Fund subscription finance.
• Maintain close relationships with core lead banks, asset managers, external legal panels, fund finance associations, etc., to develop the Fund Finance business portfolio.
• Conduct continuous market research and industry analysis on Fund Finance and the private equity market.

Performance Management:

• Proactively carry out customer development and marketing, completing weekly call reports accordingly.
• Prepare credit proposals based on FI clients’ credit facility requirements, including financial analysis, risk analysis and mitigants, industry analysis, etc.; complete periodic post-loan reviews.
• Manage KYC and AML processes for FI counterparties and clients, including onboarding and reviews.
• Proficiently operate various business systems and ensure accurate earmarking of financial institution limits.

Others:

• Work with other departments to maintain and enhance network management/infrastructure provision from provider banks.
• Continue to support projects/new product development across departments.
• Support system and product development that enhances the productivity of the FI Department.
• Help to enhance Fund Finance processes and policies for the FI Department to work efficiently and effectively.

Skills and Experience:

• Degree Holder (minimum Bachelor).
• At least 5 years of working experience in the UK Fund Finance market and client development.
• Good at financial analysis and risk identification.
