Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a brilliant Investments Firm based in central London who are seeking a skilled Fund Accountant to join their Accounting & Finance department on a 6 month fixed contract basis. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and skills to handle a variety of accounting duties in a fast-paced working environment. Exposure within the Financial Services industry (Investments) is preferred.

Job Description

As Fund Accountant, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Perform budgeting and forecasting tasks.
• Assist with the analysis and review of fund performance.
• Collaborate with other team members on strategic projects.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders as required.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Fund Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Studying towards completion of ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Exposure to working with the Financial Services industry (ideally investments).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
