We are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor for Mathematics. Would you like to make a difference in young people's lives by supporting learners aged 15 to 18?

DUTIES

• To deliver up to level 2 functional skills Mathematics
• Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom environment
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons, tailoring your teaching to the learners’ individual needs
• Caseload of 12 to 14 learners in the classroom
• All planning and marking is done on-site within working hours, with no requirement to complete any additional extracurricular activities
• Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time
• Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
• Produce reports
• Attend meetings

ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE

• Experience in delivering Mathematics up to level 2 functional skills or similar
